My usual skincare routine is the product of decades of habit, and unlike cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and even toners, sunscreen was always an inconsistency. Now, years of not wearing facial sunscreen, I’m back at it, and this time it’s here to stay.
I can feel it.
After applying my moisturizer, I now apply the Beauty of Joseon Daily Relief Sunscreen SPF 40. I discovered it after a quick search on Amazon.

Here’s what I like about it:
- The formula is lightweight and breathable with and without makeup on top
- It’s scentless
- It doesn’t leave a grey film or overlay that many sunscreens leave on your skin
- The tubing is easy to squeeze, and it’s the perfect size to carry in my work bag
- The soft colors and simplicity of the packaging
While I do have my eye on other sunscreens to test out, I’ll be finishing up this one first.
In the meantime, the weather is heating up and that not only calls for more sunscreen but also lighter makeup, if any at all. To keep my skin fresh and accommodate reapplying sunscreen before stepping out, I plan on incorporating some face wipes.
What sunscreen are you using at the moment, and what do you like about it?
